Premium cashew kernels sourced from India, Vietnam, and West Africa. BRC and IFS certified supply chain for European buyers.
Cashew nuts are one of the fastest-growing tree nut categories in Europe, driven by snacking trends, plant-based diets, and clean-label demand. Global production exceeds 4 million metric tonnes of raw cashew nuts annually, with Vietnam, India, and West Africa dominating processing and exports. Corsodoro connects European manufacturers, retailers, and food service companies with certified cashew suppliers across all major origins - offering W180 through W450 grades, splits, and pieces in both conventional and organic supply chains.
Grades are classified by the AFI (Association of Food Industries) standard, based on kernel count per pound (454g). All grades available in conventional and organic.

Vietnamese factories offer high-volume, mechanised processing with competitive pricing. Ideal for W320 and W450 grades at scale. BRC and IFS certification widely available.

Organic cashews are available from India (NPOP/EU Organic) and select West African origins. Fairtrade-certified cashews are sourced from smallholder cooperatives in Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and India. All processing facilities hold BRC or IFS certification as a minimum requirement. Cashew harvest seasons vary by origin, which allows Corsodoro to maintain year-round supply by rotating between hemispheres and regions.
Processed cashew kernels are available year-round from warehoused stock. New-crop supply from major origins typically arrives in European ports between April and August. Tanzania's counter-seasonal harvest (Oct–Jan) provides additional supply continuity.
The most commonly traded cashew kernel grades are W180 (King size, 170–180 kernels per pound), W240 (standard premium, 220–240 per pound), and W320 (the global benchmark, 300–320 per pound). W320 accounts for the largest share of international trade. Beyond whole kernels, splits (LP, SP) and pieces (SWP, BB) are widely used in food manufacturing, bakery, and nut butter production. All grades follow the AFI (Association of Food Industries) classification system.
Corsodoro sources cashew kernels from the world's leading origins: India (Goa, Kerala, Maharashtra), Vietnam (Binh Phuoc - the world's largest processing hub), Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and Tanzania. Each origin offers distinct advantages in terms of flavour profile, pricing, and certification availability. We maintain direct relationships with processors and exporters in all these regions, enabling us to match specific buyer requirements.
Our cashew supply chains are available with BRC Global Standards, IFS Food, HACCP, EU Organic (Regulation 2018/848), USDA Organic, and Fairtrade certification. Organic cashews are sourced primarily from India and West Africa. Fairtrade-certified supply comes from smallholder cooperatives. All processing partners hold at least BRC or IFS certification, which is required for supply to European retail and food manufacturing.
Minimum order quantities start at approximately 500–750 kg (one pallet) for warehoused European stock. For direct-origin shipments, a full container load (FCL) of 15–17 metric tonnes in a 20-foot container is the standard order size. LCL (less than container load) shipments are available for buyers requiring smaller volumes or testing new origins and grades.
